Even advice from the experts is tainted by the ego. Always apply the principle of allowing for the discrepancies, personal beliefs create, before making decisions based on the advice of others. It’s often far better to seek advice, and then allow yourself room and permission to bend this, in ways that make it the most beneficial to you as an individual.
This is especially relevant when it comes to financial matters
So many of the products and services offered, the world over, have no real value other than feeding the unnecessary wants of the ego. We’re told that we must have these things because we need them. And so, in order to defend against this kind of controlling, negative suggestion, taming the ego, must be one of the greatest life-skills we can gain.
In respect of seeing all of this as something to believe in and trust, it really is only testing, experimenting and experiencing it, that’s likely to bring it home.
